la bicicletta

Marking the entrance to a Roman jewelry
shop with a French name—I've
lost count of the number of shops I've seen
around the world with a red bike
by their front door.  Well, it does grab

your attention.

  1. Bikes are weirdly common as signs for shops. They are very beautiful but rarely relevant!

  2. Those bikes make fine flower baskets as well as attention getters for the businesses. Lovely photo.

  3. That must be one of the “coolest places” to shop in the world.

There is plenty of air in the tires. I wonder if the proprietor rides that shop sign to work and home every working day. A good way to work up a thirst for...

The flowers are a nice touch. The red graffito riding on the seat as well.

  4. I can't think of a cuter bicycle #OurWorldTuesday

  5. Bikes adorn doors and they've been incorporated into tables and chairs and each time they work their magic as a pull out the camera and snap yet another photo. Great shot of this ubiquitous bike.
