    I figure that door knocker just indicates that behind the door is something benign like a manuscript or illustrations of Dante’s Inferno. Just through the corridor and down a few steps you would simply find, say, an artistic representation of Canto III: The Vestibule of Hell.


    “Knock, knock.”

    “Who’s there?”

    “Blackheads.”

    “Blackheads who?”

    “Black-Keds are better to skulk around in at night.”
