Skywatch Friday

A bright blue sky over the very simple church
of Sainte Radegonde, in Giverney.
Monet and his family are all
buried here, in the little churchyard.

  1. Beautiful!
What a coincidence: I was in Giverny a few weeks ago but I did not visit the church.
    Nice to see it.

  6. Whoa!! That is one helluva intense blue... Looks like an old Romanesque-style church with Gothic spires added on later.

  7. Monet's family is buried here....how interesting. You are so lucky to have visited there and were able to take a photograph of the church. Monet is one of my favorite painter's. Nice job on the image!
